"* BOW says it may consider an equity stake in its reserves (WCL could do same)
*"....securing a heavyweight joint-venture partner would help finance the development of its CSG fields." Same applies to WCL !"
Jake00002,
I think you'll find that there are big check marks besides the equity stake/joint-venture partner.... aren't BG already 50% with everything in WCL?
"How come WCL is shadowing BOW in the target reserves and getting the good results, but is trailing in the share price stakes ????"
My opinion on this is linked to the answer to the first questions... because BG are linked heavily with WCL, we don't get the speculation about WCL being a takeover target such as the rumours that occasionally surround companies like BOW being taken out by AOE, etc... so short term the SP is less likely to fire up but this doesn't discount the value in WCL long term. Once they firm up the reserves, WCL will prove to be just as valuable to one of the LNG players (most likely the BG play) and BG will pay for WCL's half of the gas reserves, and then the share price/market cap should play catch up to the likes of BOW. That's what I envisage anyway, and why I'm happy to keep buying at these prices... even though I obviously share the frustration of a rangebound share price with other holders sometimes!
