It's announcements like these that give SHs full confidence in what must be one of the most competent management teams on the ASX. Whilst the short term hit on SP from the SPP is unfortunate, and does disadvantage large holders (I am only small fry) the end result will be a company with cashflow more resilient to a lowball takeover offer. The new institutional shareholders also lower the risks of this as they would have to be won over on any takeover offer.
What we see is management trying to maximise the value of the company which as a shareholder is what I want to happen.
