Sounds like that ute would be going in for a service every 6-7 weeks.
As l said, you are in a pretty small minority when it comes to ute use.
That said, at the rate of fast charging installation around the country now unless you're in a really remote area big distances won't be a problem any more.
NSW has a pretty good program going at the moment where they will pay for up to 75% of the cost of charging outlet in rural areas. They have a real focus on getting charging everywhere in the state as soon as they can.
