I buy chinese copies for a third of the price that take Makita batteries. I only use genuine Makita batteries.
Stick a longer bar on one, keep it for those jobs. I'd swear it's the same motor, just the plastics a tiny bit different.
Angle grinders, circular saws, drills/drivers, blowers, reciprocating saws, routers, chainsaws, sanders, all seem to work
as well as the genuine, with quality batteries.
