on yahoo apparently the kid was subjected to a common tactic '0h plese buy something so i can eat dinner' guilt trip,and he may not have had the skills to say no to this pro.
and the cops and government let these people walk around and sell drugs and not charge them, but only as soon as a tourist has bought something do they do something.
so for that bali govt dont deserve one more aussie tourist to arrive on their shores and i hope we all boycott bali for allowing these guys to carry and sell drugs to tourists.
the story shows what the bali police and govt think of us so why would any aussie go there. i was going to have a look at legian and seminyak after 20yrs but not now.
yes malaysia sabah thailand vietnam laos srilanka fiji etc is much much better and more interesting. balinese and bali tourism does suffer from these touts who are allowed to walk around
