    Its the wrong analogy anyway. The burglar is not an outsider but one of the people inside the home.

    For e.g. There will be instances where sub-ordinates commit civil or criminal acts (e.g. anti-trust, anti competitive collusion, bribery, etc) that ultimately benefits the corporation, and which can rob wealth from consumers.

    The CEO may, or may not, know the strategy and tactics of his sub-ordinates but that should not prevent the CEO from being prosecuted.
