Here's a tip for you. I can only assume you are a newscorp and telstra shareholder. Here's the tip. You go and get all of the shareholders of newscorp and telstra and put pressure on these companies to stop investing in sport. The lay person knows how well Rupert has done around the world taking over sports or investing heavily in sports and entertainment.

So you get all the investors together and put pressure on them to stop investing in sport.

When you force these companies to stop investing in sport AND IF the NRL don't or can't fill the void with other companies, perhaps then you will get your wish.

For your wish to be granted, you will have to also pressure channel 9 who puts in the lion's share of the tv rights.

But, until then, the NRL whether you believe it or not , or like it or not, is a money making sport. All you need to do is convince those companies to stop investing in sports entertainment and then convince competitors to not put in bids for the right. Then all your wishes will come true.

And send a letter to Channel 10 and 7 and tell them not to bid for the rights because they are not worth anything.
