Well, you have missed your calling. Perhaps the NRL and AFL should have employed you to negotiate with the players union since you know best.
Common sense should tell you that sports should have funds stashed away for a "rainy day" in emergency circumstances like this. The NRL has $30 million in the bank.
The NRL have obviously chosen to do what is right for the players thinking that the season will go ahead. Maybe it is right, maybe it is wrong. I suppose it just goes to show the benefits of having a union.
You obviously don't get it, but I am sure there are businesses out their that are hurting or not even getting an income and bosses are sympathetic to the plight of their employees and are spending their own money to prop up their employees.
