Mate I am not a Green I am not anti pulp mill (if it is done right). I am a qualified environmental scientist who lives in Tassie. Basically every single large state development must be and is assesed by the state RPDC in a full assessment - this DID NOT HAPPEN with the pulp mill because Gunns pulled out of it and our State gov made special legislation for a fast track assesment that didn't cover anywhere near the full gamut of isssues as per the usual RPDC assesment. This is not opinion it is fact and public knowledge! If they had nothing to fear they should have done the full assesment like every other development. And it now looks like their dodgy backdoor dealings with the State gov is now coming back to bite them - as it has just done with the Premier who had to resign the other day.
