Can someone please explain why then the need to build a pipeline to pump the effluence out 2-3 miles into the bass strait IF the pulp mill is so safe. Why not just pump it straight into the Tamar river - save alot of money!! Alot of flaws with proposal the way i see it BUT economically fantastic for the region around Georgetown/Launceston!!
