That's a very superficial analysis. If you don't look more closely at your potential investments you will miss many opportunities.

Borghetti's strategy had driven VIrgin into a vulnerable position. There's no way I would have been tempted by any form of investment in Virgin under Borghetti.

Scurrah had a viable recovery strategy and was successfully executing on it. But VIrgin was too weak to withstand even a small shock. And the shock that arrived was anything but small.
