You don't think that's functionally the same as "losing money for shareholders"?
There's a reason woollies shelf space is considered premium.
By putting up merchandise that doesn't sell well, they are making less profit than if they put stock that does sell in that shelf space.
Your conspiracy theory that ALP woke governments have something to do with a straight up business decision is just a conspiracy theory that you have no evidence for because it didn't happen.
I suspect the real cause is that the overly nationalistic bedeck themselves with Australian flags people are buying all that stuff from Amazon these days.
