I just think though, that theres no point bitching about it. What does that achieve?

They obviously have their reasons.

As a holder, I actually dont mind, whilst some will of course, because perhaps we will find out more in the conference call to benefit holders, which wont allow day traders to have their fun with the sp, without qualified information being delivered to the market

In many ways, it is actually a good thing.
And as said, until this "one" incident, it has been very professionally managed by the board which I doubt anyone could disagree with
