I was somewhat doubtful of BP bothering to aquire a small Eagleford player, particularly when I saw the recently articles referring to AZZ.

BP have now signed a deal with Lewis for what is effectively 40000 net acres. AZZ currently hold around 30000 net acres.

The idea of BP or another major making a play for AZZ should no longer to be sniffed at.
