I would also be very dissapointed if they walk away from Oz Assets. Surely Origin or ENI or MEO or similar would be interested in some sort of deal where TPT retain a carried interest - even a poor deal for TPT would be better than nothing. For many Australian investors these assets appear more attractive and less risky than Morocco or other African ventures, and would have been their basis for investing in the company.
WE can only hope management is getting on the phone to try and do a deal and not just sitting back waiting!
