    Sure, but then you incurr a 2% cash advance fee and a extortionate interest rate until you can get the money back into the card account - both the refund and any stag profits you want to take to fund the whole exercise.

    I know, I know... we should all be looking to a profit more than large enough to cover this sort of thing but I'm generally conservative about credit...

    I want to buy to hold but only a specific position size so my main interest in using this mechanism was to remove uncertainty due to scale back. I don't usually like to buy shares on credit but was willing to do so in this case only to remove the specific issue of uncertainty around parcel size.

    Of course if you are comfortable taking a cash advance good luck to you - I suspect it's still a good deal. This is not advice, of course.
