For mine all of this begs a question; and a very serious, poignant one : who actually calls to task those running the Exchange?

The ASX imposes its rules and protocols, indeed its will,upon those participating. But who's checking that the ASX is actually playing a straight bat.

They themselves are listed upon their own exchange. Would there be grounds to consider a conflict of interests?

We see the exchange operate in some strange manners at times. They're just another business all said and done.

Show me a business without foibles !!

Who's to say there aren't coercions ? It can be all very arms length, all denied plausibly.

I mean for years the Petrol companies said there was never any colusion

But seriously who's overseeing the umpire here ?
