Imagine actually trying to run, or god forbid, start an exploration type business in this country. It must be infuriating. If this decision comes down to a strategic political move, then my confidence in our leaders will be at an even further all time low.
I hope the delay is for a good reason and not just political timing. If KP strings this out for this long and doesn’t approve without a very, very good reason, then it is an absolute disgrace and a waste of everyone’s time. There should be ramifications for the NOPTA process.
I will continue to hold, I have done since the $0.008 days, but this experience has really showed me how nothing gets done in this country unless you have clout with politicians or you can appease the vocal minorities of the world. The amount of money that the governments waste treading water on decisions is staggering.
