They'd be extremely lucky to be awarded anything in that grant. They haven't even drilled yet to verify if the geology is suitable - and it may well not be, no matter how much we'd like it to be for the boost in profits - and they would be going up against projects which are much further down the track and with proven results (eg: Santos Moomba CCS project). And CCS projects are by no means guaranteed, as Chevron found out to their dismay, so you'd need a pretty compelling case. The CCS field in PEP-11 is only at a stage of "we're hopeful there might be something suitable there, but we even haven't been able to look yet".
