the thing that gets me is we will still need gas to live life as we do it will be sourced from other field a long way from where the gas is utilised
It requires a lot of energy to move that gas from where it is produced to where it is burned. Nun of the employees who work at these remote fields live anywhere close so fly to and from work every two weeks let alone transporting all all the plant equipment and materials, big money and lots of energy wasted having a development right on Sydney door step would make this development so much greener than anything remote.
On top of that if it's so close to major population centres it would be under the microscopic for any environmental issues
Get real get logical do it where we can all see it and have some sort of input as to what we are doing to the environment
