The government has stated it's adamant it will support hydrogen to ensure production costs get down to $2 per kilogram by 2025, which will increase Australia's competitiveness in hydrogen exports. To meet this goal they need steam-methane hydrogen paired with CCS, known as blue hydrogen. To keep costs as low as possible this will depend on lower natural gas prices and the distance between hydrogen production sites and CCS reservoirs.
Ummm.... now where did I hear about a project that could tick all of these boxes in NSW?
