There wouldn't be any chance of compensation. The only avenue would be to appeal the refusal, like they are doing with their other permit.
Appeal court would then decide if they application outside of political interference.
In any event, I bailed last week. I saw something with a great ebitda on a low multiple (CE1). Try and clawback my losses.
