Yeah, i have no doubt it will eventually be drilled. Even if KP says no today to the first application, the approval stays on foot with the second application in the RFI stage.
And at that point, Advent would appeal the decision and let the court decide that the decision is based on legislation, not on the political wyms.
The difficulty is the timing. I personally don't see any decision before the election. Approval loses votes, refusal tries to win some but doesn't get rid of the permit anyway.
Labor elected, you get a refusal immediately then appeal. Libs elected, probably takes 3 months for the dust to settle and then a decision.
Ultimately, mid-next year is looking like the likely timing in my mind. So ill probably revisit around the election but in the mean time, ill try and use my dollery doo's to make some returns.
