IMO If anything, the International Energy Agency (IEA) latest report titled ‘Net Zero by 2050: a Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector,’ is only going to put more pressure on KP to make a decision sooner rather than later. The report states that it doesn't want any further gas fields approved beyond those that have been committed to as of 2021.
I think leaving the decision for another 6 odd months would put it too close to this cut off date and would not be a wise move at all IMO.
