I hardly think it was insider trading !!!
The expectation was the well would be drilled.
It had been drilled before in 2010 with no harm done.
pre drill preparations were being done.
The possible economic benefit was huge.
(check the Victorian Bass Strait offshore gas field
operating for more than 50 years with no environmental damage ever,
and worth many many $billions to Victorian economy)
All the objections are completely unfounded, and based on untruths.

Its not DBs fault …he was following all the rules exactly.

The only good news is this might happen
more quickly than drilling the well.
But even then I’m probably dreaming!
