Can't help but think that it was an additional, premeditated kick in the guts for ScoMo to give Advent 30 days to respond to the notice of intention to refuse the application, RIGHT BEFORE XMAS. How many lawyers were planning on working over the holidays?
Notice too, that Advent's submission then goes back to the "responsible Commonwealth Minister" to decide on the decision.
In deciding whether to make the decision, the responsible Commonwealth Minister must take into account any submissions made in accordance with the notice.
What rubbish! "Must take into account any submissions made". How is this measured or enforced? What's the likelihood of ScoMo admitting he was wrong to have done a deal under the table with Pitt to sacrifice Pep-11 try to protect Coalition votes in vulnerable seats???
