NSW, the largestexporter of black coal on the planet and exports to the biggest polluter on theplanet, but is too precious to offshore drill like its fellow states of Vic,WA, NT, SA and Qld export hub because of its so called pristine coastline.
Lakes Entrance, TwelveApostles, Bells Beach, Great Australian Bight, Broome, Darwin, Great Barrierreef are more pristine than Newcastle Beach that has its armada of coal shipcarriers dumping their ballast onto its beaches waiting to load their blackcoal, but maintain safe offshore gas supply
NSW, instead of miningan offshore resource that is undersea pipelined into an existing network, isinstalling an toxic import terminals, something that Vic has refused because of the environmental pollution they create
The gas mining industryin Vic , WA, NT which K Pitt noted has it has been operating offshore successfullyfor over 50 yrs that’s something NSW coal industry cannot claim with coal carriers landing on their so called pristine beaches.
