It was done before by Morrison. All that is required this time is for King to delegate it legally to someone who has not commented on PEP-11 in the past and prove no bias on the application.According to section 66 of the OPGGS Act, anyone within the respective department of King can be delegated. That only leaves Ed Husic and Tim Ayres. Both of who have previously commented on the application.
Hoodlum I also don’t see where you see this is only for State to delegate and not Federal? I believe it’s for both JA to delegate the decision if they wish to anyone within the respective department. State decision is irrelevant as we saw with the Pitt and Barilaro situation
