    In spite of what some people on HC would have us all to believe, yes this is a possibility as Labor realise that they do need to firm up the grid post 18.00 each day until 08.00 the next morning. batteries whilst a great idea cannot store "Grid Wide" energy for even 2hrs and as such the easiest energy source to bring online is Hydro (finite) and also Gas. Gas has a major benefit of not needing a boiler and as such can be ramped up and down relatively quickly.

    LABOR REALISE THIS NOW! This is evidenced by Albo advocating gas during the election campaign.

    The clock is ticking for Labor to do the right thing.
