The hearing prospect will be dependent on whether the Government is allowed to proceed under model litigant rules. I believe it won't be allowed to proceed due to the case being unwinnable but that is just my opinion.
In relation to NOPSEMA, the Government has no role in that process. It does not grant the drill approval, NOPSEMA does. It is up to the good folks at NOPSEMA to consider our application and if they have any concerns, Advent is able to address them. Could there be objections from the public? Possibly, but this permit has been drilled before, without incident, and offshore exploration occurs regularly around the country. I believe we will get our NOPSEMA approval with a restirction that drilling be conducted outside of whale migration season.
