Appreciate the sentiment, but disagree because we dont want unelected beauracrats making decsions that they cant be held accountable for. This is exactly what Tanya P was trying to achieve with environmental approvals, and what scres me about an EPA.
NOPTA working well at the moment, but it doesn't always work out that way, so better we have the option to roll politicians if given the chance.
No perfect solution, but less accountability to the voters generally isn't better.
