I think using very similar excuses as the Scomo play to justify the rejection of the SVE to be an extremely sloppy move. I believe they had a trump card to play in the words of the previous SVE approval. Don’t quote me but it went along the lines of ‘any further SVE applications will be looked upon unfavourably’. That would have been a great play. They could have easily said, we told you last time we won’t extend. They didn’t.
