Sorry to jump in Laola and I agree with all that you say and after what has happened do not for a minute bury my head in the sand when it comes to political shenanigans as many on her have alluded to.
The only thing that gives me comfort that King will do the right thing is the narrative set up early on by Albo whereby he clearly stated that because of Scomo's dealings the ALP are now forced to follow the law when dealing with this permit. King has also corroborated this narrative.
So IMO whilst she might cop backlash from a flip flop POV their is an easy political out, that being it wasn't our fault it was Scomo who stuffed this up.
That is my hope
