NSW input on the decision is like chatting to your father in law prior to proposing to his daughter. Its not required but its a courtesy and a nice thing to do.

All indications, from the forecast energy squeeze, to reporting in the media and statements from various ministers and those in the energy sector point towards approval. All parties are playing the long game and positioning this decision strategically to negate public backlash (which should be minimal). By the same measure the Minister would be well aware of the previous court action and the need to press on. Breeze has been thinking about PEP11 for years and all the possible scenarios as to how this plays out. I cant see him getting snookered now.

As.much as we want to keep discussing the timeframe on the decision, its much like an expectant father in the dlivery room. The support is nice but in the long run we're not the one's doing the pushing.
