There are pages and pages of posts flooding the threads about if, but, and maybe.

To those concerned about whether Scomo is giving a personal opinion or a party position, can I remind you all that in December 2020, a motion was put to the Senate by Greens Senator Whish-Wilson calling for cancellation of the PEP11 licence. The motion was defeated by the LNP coalition voting against the motion with assistance from several cross-benches. This represents (a) a mandate for Keith Pitt to approve PEP11, and (b) a clear position from the LNP as to whether they support PEP11. If Scomo's off the cuff comments were truly reflective of the LNP official position, the application would not have been supported by them in the Senate and in fact would have been decided upon months ago.

The most reliable indicator of the outcome is NOPTA procedures and protocols as they pertain to the Joint Authority. The JA operates within a framework, and if Scott Morrison can wake up one morning kill off a Title then why bother having the independant regulatory body at all.

Titleholders have rights including to compensation.
