Yeh.. but that motion's fate was not evidence for the party position, the only mandate it gave was to obey the law and decide the outcome based on its merits. That is evidence of the Government keeping the law, whereby permits are decided based on the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006. Motions don't decide outcomes of permits, so I think that argument you just made is invalid.
