So the number of responses to my thread gives weight to my thinking that there are either (a) very few competitors to BPP out there or (b) it's a very boring thread that nobody can be bothered to reply to. If (a) is in fact the case then as a major client of BPP you would have to think that if one of your competitors who was also reliant on BPP's services started to accumulate an influential holding or even buy BPP then this could cause quite some disruption to your business. Maybe I'm totally out of kilter in my thinking here but at a rather modest price of 3 cents BPP looks like a very cheap pick up by one of their very deep pocketed clients or at least worthy of one of them taking a decent stake in them to give them a seat at the table.
