At last you have started threading on hotcopper! There are now two names that I can put faces to on BPT threads. Unfortunately "Icesmooth" is not a holder of BPT(that I know of) so he doesn't thread on BPT that often. Welcome to the warm balmy shores of the Beach Shepco. And thanks for warm fuzzy comments. I am glad that pure capitalism is working well for you and you are turning over some $$$.
Interesting points you make. It has been a tough year. A year for trading rather than holding that is for sure. It looks likes the volatility may continue according Shane Oliver - Head of Investment AMP (Yahoo.com.au/finance.Tuesday January 1, 2008, 8:53 am)
BPT holders would do well to compare BPT yearly sp basic graph with WPL, AWE, OSE and ROC. I think this will add some confidence to your investment choice.

weekly data - Neutral indicating HOLD
daily data - only just in Bull territory so really -HOLD
BB GRAPH - upper mid fairway
trend holders - indicates BUY
contrarians - indicates HOLD
PARABOLIC SAR
Green tokens 10, Red Tokens 26 so this indicates a SELL
So there you go troops... something for everyone. I am holding and accum- despite Parabolic SAR indications.
I trust all BPT holders have a good new year. The fundamentals of BPT will start to shine soon.
