Well, Bill, mate, I reckon their ill gotten gains would come from sellers and not from holders. And canny buyers can also gain from the price movements- if they hold patiently during the dark days.
And a lot of price action is simply the aggregate of thousands of people making decisions and reacting to emotions etc.
