The shift to renewables will be very slow I’ve been hearing about the death of the current energy sector for the past 20 years. You can look at Nyt articles from 15 years ago talking about how quickly the world is suddenly going to switch over to 100% renewables and how oil has no future, the fact is, it hasn’t happen. Oil and natural gas still have bright futures ahead of them.
