Why do they do this ? The letter from directors says they think it will 'allow for better capital management' ? From my experience whenever companies to this, the resulting value of my holding goes down after the consolidation. Perhaps others have a different viewpoint ? I think the directors should offer more info than 'allow for better capital management'.
(for those who haven't heard, they are proposing a 1 for 7 consolidation)
I hold BPT, the price of which is already dropping.
