Also, the 17tcf is a gas in place calculation. Beach's 2tcf is a contingent Resource. To compare like with like you need to look at ESG's contingent Resource.
PEL 238's contingent Resource is 3.5tcf and ESG's share is 65% of that.
However, if you compare Reserves of course, ESG has Reserves and Beach has no shale gas Reserves. Nobody has yet been able to prove shale gas is economically viable in Australia.
