G'day Katok, Posting in this forum and hoping to get some constructive thoughts has been as frustrating as waiting on our management to actually deliver something, anything. Well, at least they have got two GSA's. That's a good start, but a helluva long way still to go and already looking shaky.

But, the very title of this thread is really a serious concern. BPT v ICN! v!!

The fact that BPT went straight to Court and made, what appeared, absolutely no attempt to sit down to discuss what is really nothing but a "difference of opinion, does not auger well for any sort of potential "marriage" between these two companies.
Not only have they not been prepared to sign a pre-nuptial contract, but, have already filed divorce papers!! Going to Court to "force" a "marriage" (J/V) is no way to be looking forward to a long and profitable future together.

It appears that ICN strongly defends its position (otherwise, why potentially shoot themselves in the foot) and will be wanting to to defeat BPT's claim. Sadly, we look like having to wait until mid July to see what happens there.

That, IMO, leaves ICN with only one alternative. If they are so confident of defeating BPT and thus retaining 80% of 855, they MUST be talking to some other big (bigger than BPT) players to work with them in 855. 855 will make or break ICN and they can't do it alone. They know that. So, I reckon that we will just have to wait and see, UNLESS, of course, BPT comes back to ICN and re-opens negotiations in the meantime. But, they call that "common sense" and that's too uncommon in board rooms nowadays.
