OK, fair enough, didn't realise it was credited as a Melbourne home game. That is because the Swans have always played in Canberra to their supporters down there. Bottom line is the crowd was 8000 although it is a smaller ground.
The AFL is thinking of playing the new western Sydney franchise down there to get more support so be prepared for the fantastic AFL crowds to be below 10,000. But who knows, long term might pay off. Time will tell.
