    It was only by letter of law that he was found not guilty of murdering Sarah, Justice Hall said that he probably did kill here but was not enough evidence to show there was not reasonable doubt.

    It's another example of how some one gets acquitted when they are most likely guilty, having followed the trial I did have reservation that the prosecutions case left it open to reasonable doubt and that was what the defence was trying to exploit.

    It was interesting that at the start of the trial Edward's pleaded guilty to a rape and assault, was probably thinking that if he managed to get off the murder charge he would not have to serve much more time having been in jail all this time.

    Would have been interesting to see Edward's reaction to hearing the guilty verdict, going of what has been by ex wife he would not have shown any reaction but that in it's self would be telling.

    Think we can expect an appeal unfortunately, after all he has nothing to lose
