I still follow the stock and this forum, because it was such a large part of my portfolio. I'm still deeply/morbidly interested but will never buy in again.
In mining stocks, you inevitably face "the Lasonde Curve" where the share price dips severely after the heady announcements of the amount able or available to be mined. Then the cost of it, the reality, kicks in and the share price tumbles.
Tech stocks don't have this. They are either the next big thing or not.
BRN were the next big thing. Now they're back running with the pack and most of them are much bigger dogs.
