While this study measured total IgM and IgG3, an even more detailed understanding of the disease and its progression could be revealed by identifying and measuring antibodies to specific SARS-CoV-2 epitopes. This is the realm of precision immunology.

At Biotome, we are working with researchers to identify and assess levels of specific neutralising antibodies for SARS-CoV-2. This detailed information could lead to extremely accurate diagnostics, better treatments and improved patient outcomes.
