Yes, he specialises in feeding these sorts of fanciful tasty morsels to his frenzied followers on HC.
More recently he makes a point to include the "don't believe anything I say" line at the very end of his posts, which no doubt he would attempt to rely on if anything ever comes back to bite him. Due to the off the charts confirmation bias on the BRN threads, not one of his followers would ever actually process this caveat of course and would just lap up the first 95% of his posts.
