Brainchip - chance of success

I'm just sharing some thoughts, and my attempts at quantifying the likelihood of success for Brainchip.

I used 5 criteria that I consider important, and how I would rate them. It would be interesting if other people could expand their thoughts in each criteria and put forward their rating.
This isn't an analysis on each aspect of the company, because a lot of that has been stated before in previous threads. I'm just putting a rating against what I consider to be important and "known" at this point in time, and how likely it sounds to be true and eventuate.


Criteria 1: Competition
- stated to be years ahead of competition
- has been stated as such for 6+ months, and no major valid objections put forward, can assume it is accurate
- potentially very wide moat and early mover advantage
- rated 7/10

Criteria 2: Technology merit
- validated by top scientists in the field
- endorsed by top scientists in the field
- rated 9/10

Criteria 3: Disruptive potential
- could revolutionise the field of artificial intelligence
- potential to solve numerous immediate and future problems
- immensely wide-reaching applications, would touch every aspect of modern technology
- rated 10/10

Criteria 4: Confidence in Directors
- proven track record of success
- very confident forward-looking statements
- founder has impressive resume
- rated 8/10

Criteria 5: Market capitalisation potential
- quick time to market - final stages of development, imminent commercialisation
- low additional investment requirement (mostly IP licensing business, and research is done)
- potential to be utilised in every conceivable sector
- impossible to predict market cap 5-10 years from now (could be a very high number)
- rated 10/10


Total rating 44/50

Personal Conclusion: very much worth the speculative investment risk.

Can't predict the short time price, but I'm confident medium/long term in the success of speculating in this company.
