Just a reminder the ASX300 index rebalance is due within a week. BRN survived the Mar rebalance and must be a borderline case with this Sep rebalance.
BRN's current market cap in 333m which is very low for an ASX300 index stock. But there are other tools they use as well besides market cap.
There are various ramifications associated with removal from the index, but almost always volatile which plays out for months.
